Welcome to Brunei!

Brunei Darussalam, about 1 hour and 48 minutes (NAIA to Bandar) away from Philippines.

The nearest country, yet the farthest place I've ever been. This is my very first travel abroad and it was very light and easy. It was like, "hi,miss stewardess . . can I have a glass of water for my daughter please?". "Sorry ma'am but we are about to land in a few minutes. Hold on to your seat ma'am . . " and I was like "what??We're here already??" hahaha . . laugh.

The Chinese driver (i don't know his name) who fetched us at the airport, gave us a quick tour outside Jerudong Park. It was like Enchanted Kingdom, but there's not much people inside it . . . . wonder why . . . -_-
But some people say that this place is famous.

I was so amazed when I found out that there is no means of Public Transportation here. Actually there is one, haha..don't get confused.. I saw this one, only one purple passenger bus going to Miri,Malaysia and almost none of the seats were occupied. I think it's just that people here travel much more like everyday but not with the use of public vehicle. No tricycles, jeepneys, taxi or van.

No public vehicles, means no traffic, no air pollution.Much better.

Everybody have their own cars..As in cars with "s".haha^_* Even us, because we have to have one. If you are about to live in this place, you have to provide yourself a car, or else, transportation is going to be your major problem.

This is Jubli Park. Just a few steps away from us. Really. My kids love this place, and so do I. We always visit this place every weekend, since it is open for public.

At the back of this is a beach, definitely not a resort. Just a beach park. It makes this place more fun and relaxing. You can swim, surf, make sand castles, jog, walk along, picnic with your family, or just sit and watch people enjoy sunrise or sunset. lovely...

This one is called Taman Baru or WaterFrontKB. Another one similar to Jubli Park. But this one is beside Kuala Belait River. Just a kilometer away from us.

There's a foodcourt available at this place, good for milkshake lovers and spicy fried noodles! Bench scattered everywhere for you to enjoy sight-seeing and watch the sailboats.
