My very first PLANT.

To be honest, this is not actually my very first plant. Because the first one was actually I remember back in my childhood days, maybe I was at the age of ten or eleven, my Lola gave me this little fruit bearing plant called "Aratilis" (Muntingia Calabura). We planted it at the back of the house in Palawan and luckily it grows. But unfortunately, my uncle cut it down because they wanted to put up a nippa hut or kubo at that area. I cried a little because Aratilis is one of my favorite fruit and just forget about it.

And so,moving on to my next PLANT. They call it as "Butterfly Plant". I've seen a lot, but this one hooked my eyes and so in no time, i bought it. It looks like a plant filled with butterflies. Especially when the wind blows on, they move as if they were real butterflies! I got this for $2 or about P70.00.

Empire Hotel and Country Club

It's been years since my last time to experience being in a Hotel Resort...I remember back when I was in college, we had this tour at Laoag, Ilocos Norte and we stayed at The Fort Ilocandia, a 5 Star Deluxe Resort Hotel. Well, not everyone has a chance to have this kind of experience. So if there's even a little chance..don't let it pass. Grab the opportunity just the way I did^_^

Luckily, I am here to share this another experience that will definitely satisfy your eyes..Our first visit at The Empire Hotel and Country Club, Brunei. Hope you enjoy the breath-taking views....

Dr. Lash Ampule Long and Volume

Here's the truth. I am a big..big fan of...Dr. Lash.
who the heck is Dr.Lash anyway??!
and so here's the story: I just saw this commercial ad of Dara (Sandara Park) in Youtube. I watch the video, then I find myself fascinated with this product. See for yourself!

What's good about this thing is that it nourishes and strengthens your eyelashes naturally giving you a thicker, darker and extra volume. Who doesn't want to have a thicker, longer eyelash?? haha.. I would prefer this one rather than to have a fake eyelash extension and eyelash perming that will cost you much and just by time came that you have to  go back to salon after 3months and do it again, and pay again..oh well. And the sad part is that I still don't have it. But wishing to have one! or two at least? Because I saw this in pair.. The Lash Protect for daytime and the other one is Lash Renew for night time.

Aarrrghf! I will never let this Christmas pass without having this. I swear.

Food Spotted!

Foodie? Yes we are! My hubby and I are "partners-in-food". This is something that bonds us together. I love to cook,he loves to eat..! This is definitely one of my favorite hobby.. "eat-shoot-post". And being here in Brunei gives us more opportunity to give our taste buds an incredible food tasting experience.

       Ayamku

Seafood Restaurant

What I love about this restaurant is their Dumplings, which they serve only in the morning before lunch with a limited amount only. So first come, first serve! And also their prawn dishes that has so many variations. And how can I forget the "Mi Goreng" or "Fried Noodles" in english. That is my most favorite.

      Fratini's
                        Restaurant

Our first dine at Fratini's  was during Ramadan. They have this 50% off promo on all Pizza & Pasta. So we took this opportunity to experience their specialties and really,no regrets!

Welcome to Brunei!

Brunei Darussalam, about 1 hour and 48 minutes (NAIA to Bandar) away from Philippines.

The nearest country, yet the farthest place I've ever been. This is my very first travel abroad and it was very light and easy. It was like, "hi,miss stewardess . . can I have a glass of water for my daughter please?". "Sorry ma'am but we are about to land in a few minutes. Hold on to your seat ma'am . . " and I was like "what??We're here already??" hahaha . . laugh.

The Chinese driver (i don't know his name) who fetched us at the airport, gave us a quick tour outside Jerudong Park. It was like Enchanted Kingdom, but there's not much people inside it . . . . wonder why . . . -_-
But some people say that this place is famous.

I was so amazed when I found out that there is no means of Public Transportation here. Actually there is one, haha..don't get confused.. I saw this one, only one purple passenger bus going to Miri,Malaysia and almost none of the seats were occupied. I think it's just that people here travel much more like everyday but not with the use of public vehicle. No tricycles, jeepneys, taxi or van.

No public vehicles, means no traffic, no air pollution.Much better.

Everybody have their own cars..As in cars with "s".haha^_* Even us, because we have to have one. If you are about to live in this place, you have to provide yourself a car, or else, transportation is going to be your major problem.

This is Jubli Park. Just a few steps away from us. Really. My kids love this place, and so do I. We always visit this place every weekend, since it is open for public.

At the back of this is a beach, definitely not a resort. Just a beach park. It makes this place more fun and relaxing. You can swim, surf, make sand castles, jog, walk along, picnic with your family, or just sit and watch people enjoy sunrise or sunset. lovely...

This one is called Taman Baru or WaterFrontKB. Another one similar to Jubli Park. But this one is beside Kuala Belait River. Just a kilometer away from us.

There's a foodcourt available at this place, good for milkshake lovers and spicy fried noodles! Bench scattered everywhere for you to enjoy sight-seeing and watch the sailboats.
